ANDERS SVOR - PERMANENT EXHIBITION
In 2014 we celebrated the 150th anniversary of Anders Svor's birth with a new permanent exhibition in the museum, a book with selected works from the Svor collection and a newly molded sculpture group, "Adam and Eve", for the sculpture park at the museum, financed by the museum's "bronze fund".

The basic exhibition examines Svor's work with public art, both realized and non-realized, commissioned sculptures and independent works. Anders Svor's art is presented chronologically and thematically, and we try to convey the interpretation of Anders Svor's art in his own time. The exhibition shows Anders Svor as a representative of the ideas and style of neo-romanticism in Norway. In addition it conveys some facts about Anders Svor's life (biography) and about the bronze sculpting process.
